How we count
We count hours of audio we generate for you — not words, not characters, not credits. A typical article is about 10 minutes; a 30-page paper about an hour. Listening, re-listening and downloads are free.
Pro's fair use means: read like a very hungry human, not like a script.
Questions, answered plainly
What counts against my hours? +
Only generating new audio. Re-narrating a document with another voice is a new generation; playing, downloading and feed refreshes never count.
What happens when I run out? +
Nothing breaks. Everything you've made keeps playing and downloading. New generations wait for your monthly reset — or start again right away if you upgrade.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes — three clicks, from your account page. Your audio keeps playing on the free plan's terms.
What file types can I upload? +
PDF, EPUB, DOCX, TXT and Markdown — or paste text directly. Scanned PDFs aren't readable yet; we tell you instead of guessing.
Is my feed private? +
Yes. It's a long unguessable link served encrypted, never listed in directories. You can regenerate it in one click and the old link dies everywhere.
