How we count
We count hours of audio we generate for you — not words, not characters, not credits. A typical article is about 10 minutes; a 30-page paper about an hour. Listening, re-listening and downloads are free.
Pro's fair use means: read like a very hungry human, not like a script.
Questions, answered plainly
What counts against my hours? +
Only generating new audio. Narrating a document again with another voice is a new generation; playing, downloading, and feed refreshes never count.
What happens when I run out? +
Everything you already made keeps playing and downloading. New generations wait for your monthly reset, or resume immediately after an upgrade.
Can I cancel anytime? +
Yes. Cancel from your account page. Your existing library remains available under the Free plan limits.
What file types can I upload? +
PDF, EPUB, DOCX, TXT, and Markdown, or pasted text. Image-only scanned PDFs need OCR elsewhere first.
Is my feed private? +
It uses a long random URL served over HTTPS and is not submitted to public directories. Anyone who has the URL can listen. Regenerating it blocks future requests to the old address, but cannot erase copies a podcast app already downloaded.
