Your data

The plain-language version. The formal one is the privacy policy.

Where your documents live.

In the EU. They are stored there, converted there, and served from there. Full stop.

What we do with them.

We convert them to audio, for you. Nothing trains on your content — not our models, not anyone else's. Your documents are not analyzed for advertising, profiling, or "product improvement". They are read aloud, and that's all.

What we keep, and for how long.

We don't keep your original file at all. It is read once, at upload, to extract the text — then discarded. It is never written to storage.

What we do keep: the extracted text (so you can re-narrate with another voice later) and the audio made from it — for as long as the document stays in your library, and no longer.

Delete a document and its text, audio and feed episodes go with it. Delete your account and everything goes.

About your feed link.

Your feed is a long, unguessable link served encrypted — a key, not a login. Anyone holding it could listen, so treat it like a house key. Regenerate it anytime in one click: the old link stops working everywhere, audio included.

Feeds are never listed in podcast directories and are blocked from search engines.

Your rights.

GDPR applies in full: access, correction, export, deletion. Write to support@readcastx.com — a person answers. The formal version lives in the privacy policy.
